About Extra Mile Program

The Extra Mile program brings joy and comfort to families during their fight by filling the gap for those in between needs and wishes. We help our families make sure they can enjoy special life moments as much as possible with as little stress as possible.

Through this program we have helped buy dresses for dances, sent families on weekend getaways, hosted germ safe fun just for fighting families, celebrated birthdays, treatment milestones and provided hundreds of comfort packages for a pick-me-up when they needed it.

Milestone

Celebrations

We send gifts or treats to help fighters celebrate big treatment milestones We also send gifts or treats to siblings to celebrate life milestones to make sure they feel celebrated and loved too.

Birthday

Celebrations

Each fighter and siblings receive a special treat of 25 mini cupcakes from Baked By Melissa for their birthday. Once initial registration is approved, Virginia families our automatically enrolled.
